This is how Steve Harvey's biography begins on his web page. And from there, the accomplishments, awards and accolades just keep coming! Patti Boulaye

Patti Boulaye was born in Nigeria and moved to the UK at the age of 16, when she appeared in her first West End Musical 'Hair', at the Shaftesbury Theatre. 'Two Gentleman of Verona', 'The Flirtations' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar' followed this debut. Patti was cast in her first starring role as 'Yum Yum in the 'Black Mikado', at the Cambridge Theatre in the West End.

As a member of the Queen's Official Golden Jubilee Entertainment Committee, Patti gathered together a 5000 strong gospel choir for the June 4th Jubilee Procession in front of Her Majesty the Queen. She also wrote the song 'Jubilee Song (Celebrate Good News)' as a tribute to the Queen, which enabled the 5000 singers to dance and sing during the procession up The Mall, in London.

Patti is President of the charity 'Support For Africa', which she founded in 2001. The charity aims to raise essential funds to help alleviate and prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and Malaria in Africa by building special Clinics. The first Clinic is open and two more are now being built.

During Michael Jackson's last visit to the UK, in June 2002, Patti arranged for him to make an appearance to help raise funds for 'Support For Africa'.

On March 10th 2002, Patti presented and organised a sell-out event, 'Reaching Out For Africa' produced by Sir Michael Parker KCVO CBE, at the Royal Albert Hall.
